Artist Statement-

To me art is an exploration of the self and our environment. Whether we live in a city or the country we are connected to those places and our visual language is built in our interaction with them.  We also may try to transcend through art the mundane aspects of our place in the world.  Materials and textures i choose intutitively and hope it resonates with the viewer. Game boards puzzles, schematics, old science diagrams all appear at times in the work.  In larger pieces like Memory dock the notion of our collective unconcious and individual experience can meet  and rest here.
